Who would have thought that such a flighty, nervous individual could come to have such a... stabilizing effect on me? No matter what it seems like I am going through, he is right there beside me, ready to do whatever it takes to ease my own burdens. I was right to call him a friend of my people... but more importantly he is my friend, one of the closest I have. I will do everything I can to honor and protect our partnership... and it is my solemn oath that I will always stand by him, unlike the... unfortunate circumstances that pulled him and Algidus apart.
I cannot believe that she has been returned to me. I count myself unfathomably lucky for it, though, for she is a rock in the turbulent life I have known in this cave. I have always considered her the closest thing that I have to a fellow warrior... but now I think that sense of kinship that I felt with her may run even deeper than that.
It is still hard to process that she is gone; sometimes it is hard to soldier on knowing that I am stripped of one of my fiercest, most ardent supporters. I will remember her passion and carry it with me, doing my best to remember what she saw in me.
She could have easily blamed me for the terrible act I comitted while under Rage's influence; I would not have begrudged her. Instead she granted me pardon. If she was able to accept that, then... I feel more confident that I can be my true self around her, free of any judgment.
By far one of the most confounding individuals I have ever met in this place. Sometimes I feel like I cannot make heads or tails of her dialect or her behavior... and yet, I can somehow say with certainty that I can rely on her. Curious. I hope she knows that she can count on me in turn.
No-nonsense attitude, highly competent... and was willing to aid me in my defense of my partner when he was unjustly threatened. More than having a good head on her shoulders, I am beginning to see that she hides a good heart within herself as well. I wish more people in this cave were like her.
Sensible, helpful... and... he also knows what it is like to be judged by humans simply for what he is. That is a burden I previously had to shoulder alone... so we should stick together, should we not?
A quiet but kind young man; his inoffensive and intuitive nature was a boon to this place. I do miss him.
Some people say I should be grateful for the things that she provides for us all... but she and her fellow "gods" still use us all as tools for their own gain. Even though she was willing to go against them in the end to try and help us... I do not think I can trust any of them.
I have never spoken with you, and I do not need to. Anyone who would subvert the wills of so many in an attempt to seize more power for themselves is a poison, a cancerous blight on the universe. I will find a way to make you pay for what you did.

He'll be very terse and snappy in casual conversation and might even raise his voice in anger... but you're not in any danger yet. 50%: You're toeing a dangerous line--though you aggravate Glacius greatly, his natural dislike of needless conflict means that he will do his best to not end up treating you to a personal introduction to his fighting prowess. 75%: Glacius will no longer put as much effort into holding himself back. There's something about you that just makes him feel like he has to do something about you, even if interacting with you does aggravate him. 90%: Glacius openly despises you now; this level of hate is usually reserved for someone that he finds a danger to himself, to his friends, or to his people and homeworld. He won't actively seek you out, but chances are good that he'll take any excuse to fight-- and he'll be very hard to converse with over the networks because he feels you have nothing to say that's worth his time. Someone will have to work very hard to get this rating or worse. 100%: Glacius hates you so much that he will rarely entertain conversation with you, and if you encounter him in person? He will attack you. Without warning. He also won't stand for anyone trying to defend you, and will likely even go as far to distrust those that associate positively with you. | 0%: Now you're just a few mistakes away from being on Glacius' bad side. In the meantime, get used to being chastised. 25%: He's starting to dislike you, but so far he has no reason to be actually angry with you. He'll still interact and be a bit more terse, but any criticisms lack venom for the most part. 50%: Glacius is pretty indifferent to you at this point. 75%: Glacius considers you intriguing and will play nice around you, but he's going to keep his personal affairs to himself. He finds you likeable but not necessarily trustworthy. 100%: Congratulations-- though Glacius is still keeping his guard up around you, you might notice a few rare favors coming your way if he thinks there's something might come of it--or if he feels like you are an innocent who needs his protection. | 25%: Glacius has stopped keeping track of who has done what for who and will just help out where he can. The previously secretive alien will also be willing to talk about his race, culture, and history to you-- he trusts you enough that he feels you won't misuse the information. You can also count on him to offer physical protection-- he's got to put his fighting skills to good use, after all. 50%: Glacius will now go out of his way for you willingly and openly-- often to the point of putting his own plans to the side. He views you as a friend and will adamantly defend you should you need it, whether it's in conversation or combat. 75%: Any lingering bits of doubt are beginning to fade away. Glacius is definitely starting to open up around you, and will always be ready and willing to fight for you or protect you. He'll put his plans to the side for you, and likewise, he'll be willing to come to you if he needs help with something. He might even confess the rare insecurity to you, or provide you a shoulder to lean on, and he's even okay with you getting a bit up in his sacred personal space for previously forbidden acts like hugs; your friendship means a lot to him and he will show it as best he knows how. 100%: At this point Glacius trusts you completely and would be ready and willing to put himself at risk to help you out-- to the point of self-sacrifice. The thought of you being hurt even slightly causes him more pain than any injuries ever could, and the thought of losing you is infinitely more frightening than the prospect of his own death. You'd be hard-pressed to find something he wouldn't be willing to do for you. If someone hurts you, they're instantly on his shit-list, and he'll give them hell for it-- and even if you hurt him, he will no longer have it in him to do the same to you. You have taken up permanent residence in this alien's hearts and there's no two ways about it. |
