THE BΘ✖: RELATIONSHIPS
(Note: these are just landmarks. Your character may fall somewhere in between these percentages depending on interactions.)
25%: 'Irritating' has been upgraded to 'grating'. He'll be very terse and snappy in casual conversation and might even raise his voice in anger—but lucky for you, you're not in any danger yet. 50%: Now you could be in trouble. You piss Glacius off, plain and simple, and it'll be tough for him to reign in his urge to treat you to some of his fighting prowess. 75%: Glacius finds you so aggravating that he no longer feels the need to try and hold back. There's something about you that just makes him feel like he has to do something about you, even if interacting with you does aggravate him. 80%: Glacius openly despises you now—this level of hate is usually reserved for someone that he finds a danger to himself or to his friends. He'll look for excuses to fight—to the point where he's actively seeking you out-- and he'll be very hard to converse with over the networks because he feels you have nothing to say that's worth his time. 100%: Glacius hates you so much that he will rarely entertain conversation with you, and if you encounter him in person? He will attack you. Without warning. He also won't stand for anyone trying to defend you, and will likely even go as far to distrust those that associate positively with you. | 0%: Now you're just a few mistakes away from being on Glacius' bad side. In the meantime, get used to being chastised. 25%: He's starting to dislike you, but so far he has no reason to be actually angry with you. He'll still interact and be a bit more terse, but any criticisms lack venom for the most part. 50%: Glacius is pretty indifferent to you at this point. 75%: Glacius considers you intriguing and will play nice around you, but he's going to keep his personal affairs to himself. He finds you likeable but not necessarily trustworthy. 100%: Congratulations-- though Glacius is still keeping his guard up around you, you might notice a few rare favors coming your way if he thinks there's something to gain from it--or if he feels like you are an innocent who needs his protection. | 25%: Glacius has stopped keeping track of who has done what for who and will just help out where he can. The previously secretive alien will also be willing to talk about his race, culture, and history to you-- he trusts you enough that he feels you won't misuse the information. You can also count on him to offer physical protection-- he's got to put his fighting skills to good use, after all. 50%: Glacius will now go out of his way for you willingly and openly-- often to the point of putting his own plans to the side. He views you as a friend and will adamantly defend you should you need it, whether it's in conversation or combat. 75%: That last tiny bit of doubt? Gone. Glacius is definitely starting to open up around you, and will always be ready and willing to fight for you or protect you. He'll put his plans to the side for you, and likewise, he'll be willing to come to you if he needs help with something. He might even confess the rare insecurity to you, or provide you a shoulder to lean on-- your friendship means a lot to him and he will show it as best he knows how. 100%: At this point Glacius trusts you completely and would be ready and willing to put himself at risk to help you out-- to the point of self-sacrifice. The thought of you being hurt even slightly causes him more pain than any injuries ever could, and the thought of losing you is infinitely more frightening than the prospect of his own death. You'd be hard-pressed to find something he wouldn't be willing to do for you; he's even okay with you getting a bit up in his personal space for previously forbidden acts like hugs. If someone hurts you, they're instantly on his shit-list, and he'll give them hell for it-- and even if you hurt him, he will no longer have it in him to do the same to you. You have taken up permanent residence in this alien's hearts and there's no two ways about it. |

With Jolene's aid, all of my hopes and goals have been made possible. Never have I been so proud of one individual... nor so connected. The bond we share is a privilege, an honor of the highest caliber. We will see this through to the end... and in whatever capacity I can, regardless of how things come to pass, I will be there with her.
She has always been there when I needed her. She has always attempted to lend me her cheer, even when things could not be harder. I will never forget the kindness she showed me so long ago--that she continues to show me--and I will never cease in my attempts to repay it.
What a gentle, kind soul... she healed my arm even before we really got to know each other. I owe her much and I wish I knew more beings that possessed such qualities. Though she keeps some things to herself, I could never begrudge her for that; I only want to make the realities of the Box less harsh for her.
I am sorry, my friend--I wish we could have had a proper goodbye. Know that I will remember your untempered spirit always.
I remain pledged to her cause. She tirelessly defends those who are loyal to her, and never stops working to bring people together in this hellish place; an extraordinary warrior and leader, I count myself lucky to be on her side.
A seemingly gentle human with a good heart and a drive to protect her friends--hm, it seems we are eye-to-eye on such matters.
I find myself wary around him despite the aid he provided me. I know such mistrust is... unfair, but certain things are hard to shake.
